The DN72408M is a British standard 13A double MF universal switched socket which offers multi-fit power outlets in a compact single 88\u00d7146mm double gang wall plate. It is useful in a Nigerian house, Angola hotel, or any multi-standard African installation by providing access to British, European, and local plugs without the use of adapters. It is designed to handle the following plugs: UK BS1363 3-pin, European 2-pin round, etc. Each outlet has its SP rocker switch and neon indicator. You have the option of three materials for the panel: PC for high volumes of production, tempered glass for luxury settings, or brushed aluminum for an industrial vibe. Its 0.6mm phosphor copper socket contacts guarantee consistent retention of the pins from the different plugs used through both outlets.

The DN72408M African electrical socket functions well in environments where available plug options include many varieties of plugs used in Nigeria. In the country, plugs from Britain, namely BS1363, which is widely used due to the colonial times, are used alongside plugs that utilize two pins that have been adopted from devices purchased from Europe alongside indigenous plugs. While a standard BS1363 outlet may function only with British plugs, an ordinary European outlet will only accept plugs from Europe. The DN72408M African multi-socket offers two outlets that operate independently of one another. In Nigeria, one outlet may be used to power a television and the second outlet can be used to power a fan. Likewise, in a hotel in Congo, both sockets at the bedside will accept the plugs of the guests. The contacts are made using phosphor copper. Each of the outlets has its own power indicator that informs the user about the state of power.<\/p>\n
