The TD115/TD125 features a chromed aluminum plate designed in a way only one gang switch can have. This allows you to select a color from several colored wall switches and select a contrasting metallic border (all finishes come with chromed accents). The TD115/TD125 is available in seven different color finishes: white, white with chromed gold, black, black with chromed gunmetal, gray, gray with chromed silver, and gold with chromed gold. Each chroming accent frames each rocker switch with a highly visible metallic border; as the chroming catches the light and creates depth, so do each of the finishes; therefore, you can see them from different angles. The 81.5×120 mm ultra-thin PC plate is much closer to the wall than conventional wall switches, and the middle plate is made of steel for added structural support. The TD115/TD125 switches are available in 1 way (single location) or 2 way (two location) styles. TD115 vs TD125 — Which Circuit Type Do You Need?
A TD115 (single pole) has one switch to control one circuit from one place. This is the most common application in both bedrooms and bathrooms. On the other hand, a TD125 (double pole) has two switches that will control one circuit from two places. Typical places include stairways and hallways, where both switches will control the same light fixture. Both models have seven finishes in metal, along with a rating of 100,000 cycles.
T-C vs T-D — Two Chroming Palettes
In the T-C series, colors are combined with cooler metals: Silver will appear on White, Gold will appear on Black, Gun will appear on Gray. The T-D series chroming wall switch will do the opposite: Gold will appear on White for warm interiors, Gun will appear in Black for dramatic dark spaces and Silver will appear on Gray to create a subtle tone-on-tone effect. Installation Note
Installation: The ultra-slim 81.5 x 120mm panel fits into industry standard wall box (UK) installation. Wiring is the same as most other devices… Live to common and load to L1. For TD125 2 way circuits, you just need to connect the traveller wire to L2.The steel middle plate provides rigidity while keeping the overall depth slim.
