What is a 3 prong wall socket and why does it matter?

Can I replace a 2 pin socket with this 3 pin version?
Only if a protective earth conductor is present in the wall box. Where no earth conductor exists, use the 2 pin version or have the circuit upgraded by a qualified electrician.
Will the chrome finish on the panel wear off?
The A30 range uses electroplating on a PC substrate rather than a painted surface, so the finish is bonded to the panel and keeps its mirror appearance through normal domestic and commercial use. For cleaning, a soft damp cloth is sufficient — abrasive polish should be avoided on any plated surface.
What is the difference between the A30 Chromed PC Series and other GOG wall plate series?
Series differ mainly in the front panel material and surface treatment. A30 Chromed PC Series uses chrome-plated PC front panel with mirror finish and sits as the mirror-finish line — electroplated PC with a reflective chrome surface for high-end residential and hotel interiors. Other GOG series use different finishes — for example brushed stainless steel, tempered glass or aluminum — but share the same module dimensions, mechanisms and MOQ structure, so a project can switch series without redesigning the installation.
Can I order mixed models and colours in one shipment?
Yes. The MOQ applies per item, not per order, so a container can combine different functions, socket formats and colours from the same series.
