Independent or Combined Control

The use of red copper contacts and silver points here is the same as it is in a single gang version, and this makes switching performance the same on both sides of the plate.
Plate Size Growth

A40 Glass 2 Gang Wall Switch — A40 Glass Series for two lighting groups on one plate
The A40 Glass Series uses the glass line — a sleek tempered glass finish appropriate for high-end residential interiors where aesthetics matter as much as function. Considering that, this unit incorporates a 2 gang wall switch plate that can control two lighting schemes with a single plate – for instance, in master bedrooms, open plan living rooms and in-office places. The tempered glass surface acts as the surface of the panel. The tempered glass front panel has a smooth edge-finished surface. The base is made of transparent PC, the middle plate out of iron/plastic. The unit is made in dimensions that conform to the standard American wall box dimensions in a way that helps quick replacement even if there already are older boxes mounted.
The product has a voltage rating of 250V and a capacity of 10A/16A. The product uses copper materials and has red copper and silver contacts and switch mechanism as its switching mechanism. Is a tempered glass panel safe on a wall switch?
