T-B Ultra-Thin US 3 Pin Socket — T-B Ultra-Thin Series for grounded US 3 pin outlets
As part of the ultra-thin range, the T-B Ultra-Thin Series features an ultra-slim body design which is much nearer to the wall compared to normal plates. The T-B Ultra-Thin Series is equipped with a 3 pin so it can work with grounded 3 pin sockets including the common North American model. The front face of this series is an ultra-slim full board (PC / acrylic / glass) which comprises of an ultra-thin full board front panel made of either PC or acrylic or glass combined with an iron back plate and a transparent PC base. The dimensions of this product are H 75 mm x W 120 mm, which means that the ultra-thin module conforms to standard American wall box sizes, allowing easy replacement even in cases where older back boxes have been utilized.
The model is rated 15A at 250V in electrical terms, having copper contacts and a switch mechanism that features red copper and silver contact points. It is delivered in four colors: White, Gold, Grey and Black, with packs of 10 pieces in the inner box and 100 pieces in the outer carton, and has a warranty period of 12 years. For projects working with mixed sockets outlets, the same plate is available with alternative socket types within the same range. What is a NEMA 5-15R socket?

Can this socket be installed where there is no earth wire?
For the complete operation of a socket, the presence of a protective earth wire is necessary. Sometimes, it happens that an outlet is able to provide energy even without the earth cable, but the earth pin remains useless; in such cases one should choose the two-pin socket or call for a specialist.
How thin is the ultra-thin plate and where does it help?
In the T-B series, slim full board construction is used in order to keep its mounting closer to the wall surface than a regular plate, which makes the switch appear almost completely flush with the surface. This makes a difference in interiors where expensive wall coverings are used, in hotel rooms, as well as where multiple plates are located next to each other.
What is the difference between the T-B Ultra-Thin Series and other GOG wall plate series?

T-B Series (Ultra-Thin) includes ultra-thin full board panel (PC / acrylic / glass) panels so this series is the thinnest of them all as the whole plate stays thinner than standard plates. Other GOG series utilize other materials such as brushed stainless steel, tempered glass, and aluminum for the exterior but maintain identical dimensions, components, and MOQs in order for the projects to be interchangeable without any changes in the installation design (they can use any series without changes to the project).
Can I order mixed models and colours in one shipment?
Absolutely. The MOQ is considered by item and not by order, which means that a container can include several functions, socket types and colours that belong to the same series. That’s how many of our distributors place orders. For instance, we have received a 3 pin socket order for one of the markets, while the order from the other market included several other functions that are delivered in a single shipment from our warehouse.
