S Series Large Board 1 Gang Wall Switch — S Series Full Board for single gang switching on the large board plate format
Considered the 1 gang wall switch, the S Series Full Board belongs to the full-board structural series. The current model can thus accommodate large board complete plates for switching that is similar to both small and medium-sized boards. The front panel is constructed of one-piece PC full board: One-piece PC full board with iron middle plate base and steady inner support for large multiple gang units. With the size of H mm x W mm, the module is made according to the usual dimensions of any American wall box, making the changing process simpler even when old wall boxes have already been in place.
On the electrical side, this unit is marked as having a rating of 10A / 16A at 250V. The construction materials in this unit include copper contact points and the switch mechanism that uses a combination of red copper and silver electrical contacts for switching purposes. The product comes in colors of White, Gold, Gray, and Black and comes packed in a manner of 10 units in one inner box and 100 pieces in outer carton and has a warranty period of 12 years. For projects with mixed markets this unit is available with a range of different socket formats under the same plate. Why does board size matter on a wall switch?
Since plate width is both a practical and aesthetic choice, and not one of electricity concerns; a large board plate is appropriate for wall switch applications with wider modules or larger than usual cut-out or the existing cut-out is of smaller size; a small board plate works best for limited spaces.
Is the large board plate harder to install?
There is no substantial difference. The same fixing centers and mechanism have been used as well on the other board sizes, however the extra surface area requires the wall to be quite flat so that the edge is flush with the surface and sits straight.
What does full board mean in this range?
Full board indicates that the wall plate is a single piece of PC film. This results in flatter surfaces, since the entire wall plate is one piece. The design family also has the feature of allowing projects to use a single design across a range of different wall panel sizes.
What is the difference between the S Series Full Board and other GOG wall plate series?
The main difference in the S series panels lies in the choice of panel’s surface material and processing technology. The S series Full Board panel is made of solid PC material and it represents the type of construction technique called Full Board — the technique being the same with all board sizes either small, medium or large as it is designed to accommodate various wall configurations. Other GOG series panels use different finishings such as brushed metal, tempered glass or aluminum, however, the use of the same module size and other characteristics ensures easy transition from one type of panel to another while installing the equipment.
Can I order mixed models and colours in one shipment?
Yes, the minimum order quantity applies to each item individually, and not to the entire order. This means a shipment can be made up of items with different features, including different socket formats and colors from the same product family. A shipment is usually made this way by all our distribution partners. In most cases they order a large number of wall switches in one style for one country and other items of another style for another country.
